Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Shift Lead for Lancaster, TX. You will help the On-Site Manager set shift schedules to best service local customers, supervise a team, and ensure safety and HR policies are followed.

The role includes 3rd and 4th shift coverage, opportunities for advancement, and a competitive hourly wage. You''ll contribute to a safe, efficient work environment and support forklift operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification and valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Set shift and operating schedules with On-Site Manager to best service local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Load and unload materials and manage staging areas within the facility.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Maintain timely, legible records of movements and activities.
• Support employee relations matters with the On-Site Manager.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr

Shift(s):

3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday 4:00am - 5:30pm

4th Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:30pm - 4:00am

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
