Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead in Palestine, TX to help maximize team productivity while upholding safety standards. The role involves coordinating with the On-Site Manager, scheduling shifts, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour with full benefits, holiday and daily pay options, and opportunities for long-term career advancement. Candidates should have forklift certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best serve the local customer(s).
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Shift: Saturday - Monday 5:00am - 5:00pm

What You'll Do

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
