Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead to ensure productivity and safety during your shift at our Robert, LA location. You will work with the On-Site Manager to optimize schedules, recruit and develop staff, and maintain strict safety and HR compliance.

Daily duties include coordinating material handling, forklift duties, and accurate data entry. Qualified candidates have 1 year of supervisor/lead experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday:

2:00 AM - 12:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)


• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision


• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
