Job summary

Relogistics, located in Palestine, TX, is seeking a Shift Lead to maximize team productivity while upholding top safety standards. The role requires coordinating with the On-Site Manager to schedule shifts, support recruitment and staff development, and ensure adherence to HR and safety policies.

You will oversee material handling, forklift duties, and daily equipment checks, ensuring loads are secure and quality standards are met. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Ensure that daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

Shift: Saturday - Monday 5:00am - 5:00pm

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
