Job summary

Relogistics in Robert, LA is seeking a Shift Lead to help maximize team productivity while maintaining top safety standards. This full-time role offers $19.00 per hour with Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday shifts from 2:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

As part of our on-site team, you will work with the On-Site Manager to set schedules, assist with recruiting, ensure policy compliance, manage materials and equipment, and support forklift operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisor or lead experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set shift schedules with the On-Site Manager to best service the local customer(s).
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Load and unload materials and manage staging areas within the facility.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$19.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday:

2:00 AM - 12:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
