Job summary

Relogistics in Memphis, TN is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee a team during the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 4:30pm-1:30am). You’ll help maximize productivity while upholding safety standards and HR policies. You’ll partner with the On-Site Manager to set schedules, assist with recruitment, supervise daily operations, and ensure loads are secured and equipment is checked.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set shift schedules with the On-Site Manager and coordinate operating plans.
• Recruit and develop employees and ensure safety and HR policies are followed.
• Load/unload materials, check loads for security and perform basic data entry.
• Occasionally assist with forklift duties and maintain a clean, safe workplace.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1:30am

Memphis, TN 38114

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
