Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse/Services Supply Chain to oversee daily warehouse operations, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling. You will lead warehouse staff, ensure safety, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Facilities, and IT to deliver reliable service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or related operations; 5 years preferred.
• Experience supervising employees in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, or inventory-control platforms.
• Working knowledge of material handling, shipping/receiving, and warehouse safety.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/biotech/medical devices) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily picking, staging, packing, shipping, and material-handling activities.
• Coordinate warehouse schedules, staffing, workload balancing, and shift coverage.
• Lead, coach, and develop employees.
• Assign daily work and communicate priorities, expectations, performance standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor service levels and resolve operational issues affecting production or customers.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable work environment and culture.
• Support onboarding, training, qualification, and cross-training activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety practices.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality requirements, and company policies.
• Identify productivity, inventory flow, space, cost, quality, and customer service improvements.
• Escalate disruptions, equipment issues, or resource constraints promptly.
• Use operational data and metrics to identify trends and root causes.
• Support business continuity and contingency planning.
