Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager – Warehouse Operations to lead environmental, health, and safety programs within the company’s warehouse and distribution operations.

You will protect employees, products, and the environment while driving safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse performance. You will collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Global EHS, Supply Chain, and other functions to identify hazards, reduce risk, and support continuous improvement in a regulated pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or Engineering plus 5+ years of EHS experience or Master’s with 3+ years in EHS.
• Experience with incident investigations and regulatory interactions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Strong communication and proactive safety culture development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs for warehouse operations and ensure compliance with laws and company requirements.
• Provide EHS guidance during planning, changes, and process improvements.
• Set annual EHS goals, measure KPIs, and present findings to leadership.
• Lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and safety observations.
• Manage environmental programs including hazardous and universal waste and chemical storage.
• Lead or support investigations of injuries, incidents, and spills.
• Develop warehouse emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
• Manage warehouse safety training programs.
