AbbVie seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for warehouse operations to lead EHS programs that protect staff, products and the environment while ensuring compliant, efficient distribution activities.

The role partners with AbbVie Global EHS, Supply Chain, Quality and Facilities to identify hazards, strengthen safety culture, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or Engineering with 5+ years of related experience (or Master’s with 3+ years).
• Experience implementing EHS regulations and incident investigations.
• Ability to establish measurable goals and action plans.
• Ability to develop standards/policies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong relationship-building and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams independently.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs for warehouse operations and ensure compliance.
• Provide EHS guidance during planning, changes, and installations.
• Set annual EHS goals, track KPIs, present to leadership.
• Promote proactive safety culture through engagement and continuous improvement.
• Conduct job hazard analyses, risk assessments, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and safety observations.
• Manage environmental programs including waste and chemical storage.
• Lead or support investigations of injuries, near misses, spills, and other events.
• Develop and maintain warehouse emergency response plans and drills.
• Manage warehouse safety training program.
