Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year's proven experience in a managerial role and/or leading teams.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software (WMS/ERP).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer-service oriented.
• Commitment to integrity, professionalism and safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with GM/AGM to implement strategies optimizing efficiency and productivity.
• Manages outbound operations by setting performance expectations and monitoring teams.
• Leads truck yard operations, ensuring organized trailers, maintenance and safety.
• Ensures safety rules are followed and a safe work environment is maintained.
• Trains and develops employees, filling gaps as needed.
• Handles customer inquiries professionally and resolves issues or escalates as needed.
• Works cross-functionally to address shipping errors and process improvements.
• Protects assets and ensures proper receipts and secure facilities.
• Monitors budget and drives cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
