Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager of Operations for its Distribution Center in Salt Lake City. The role leads the management team to drive safety, productivity, and budget achievement in a fast-paced DC environment.

The position emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma, route-to-market thinking, and cross-functional leadership to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Remote work is not indicated; relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent distribution/operations experience.
• 5 years' experience handling inventory and operational tasks.
• 5 years' management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center.
• Proven leadership ability to engage and motivate teams.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports the distribution center teams.
• Develops and monitors production plans and staffing to maximize efficiency.
• Maintains safe work practices as priority for a safe work environment.
• Oversees the DC’s P&L and works with managers to meet targets.
• Establishes process improvements driving year-over-year gains.
• Leads cross-functional DC network projects contributing to cost and performance.
