Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will assist the Receiving Supervisor with daily freight scheduling and ensure accurate inventory flow across stores.

You will schedule personnel, manage shipping/receiving activities, and enforce safety, SOPs, and proper equipment maintenance to support efficient distribution and store operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment use and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
