Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics Houston location is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage inbound/outbound activities, labor scheduling, and space utilization. You will supervise warehousing, training, and performance, ensuring safety and cost objectives while coordinating with the Operations Manager.

You will lead staff, plan daily work, and drive continuous improvement in operations, aligning with client requirements and company SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Forklift training/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff meetings and review daily/weekly work activities.
• Inform senior management and client representatives of critical issues.
• Develop and implement systems for safe, efficient operations; meet KPI targets.
