Job summary

DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, seeks an Operations Supervisor in USA - Hutto to oversee inbound, outbound, slotting and customer communications. You will plan daily work, manage labor, space and equipment, and supervise warehouse staff under the Operations Manager.

You will lead staff meetings, drive continuous improvement, ensure KPI targets, and align with client requirements while upholding SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years' experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff meetings to review daily/weekly work and plan improvements.
• Inform senior management and client representatives of critical issues.
• Develop systems for managing operations, equipment and products safely and profitably.
• Meet client KPIs and comply with quality requirements.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate team; participate in performance reviews.
• Plan daily work, assign duties and prioritize tasks based on deadlines.
• Train new staff and assess progress; ensure SOP adherence.
• Support adherence to SOPs and communicate changes to the team.
