Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Supervisor – Warehouse Operations to lead a large distribution center team. You will oversee daily workflow, coach staff on productivity, quality, and safety, and drive continuous improvement in inventory and picking strategies.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. On-site position with travel as needed and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Experience leading a team of 10+ direct reports.
• Proven track record of delivering results, managing processes and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 20+ employees and oversee workflow to maintain maximum service levels.
• Participate in reviews, performance management and recognition for employees.
• Coach, train, and mentor DC team members in productivity, quality, and safety.
• Update reports for warehouse use and manage teams’ performance.
• Understand and help slot the DC based on inventory and picking strategies.
• Handle conflicts, process requests, engage team members, and lead team-building activities.
• Monitor tasks, manage reports and equipment status; balance workloads.
