CSS in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a Supervisor - Operations to oversee receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and related warehouse activities. You will manage one or more departments, train and coach associates, and ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Reporting to a Manager, you will develop processes, monitor performance, and drive improvements. The role requires leadership, forklift capability, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent is required.
• Fork Lift Certification preferred or must be obtainable.
• 3 years of warehouse and distribution operations experience.
• 1 year experience leading warehouse associates.
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain certification.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use business planning systems.
• Resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations.
• Team environment collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements.
• Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety.
• Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take corrective action.
• Ensure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced.
• Confirm quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated.
• Ensure safe working environment and follows safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate time, attendance, and performance management records.
• Maintain positive employee relations and morale.
• Recommend performance management actions.
• Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes.
• Establish and monitors performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship.
• Process returned merchandise.
• Establish and monitors performance standards for equipment, assembly, housekeeping, etc.
• Develop and implements training certification programs and ensures warehouse employees receive training.
