Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead hourly teams across distribution operations and ensure on-time merchandise flow to stores. You will oversee staffing, production schedules, and safety standards with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will coach, evaluate performance, and conduct discipline when needed, while building strong cross-functional relationships with DC leadership. This role requires full-time in-office presence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree or two years supervisory experience in a production or merchandising function.
• Developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as organization/prioritization skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively across multiple shifts/departments is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Trains, motivates, coaches, and evaluates associates using MAP process.
• Ensures rapid, accurate movement and processing of merchandise using established methods.
• Organizes and prioritizes daily work orders and staffing to meet production goals.
• Maintains accuracy/quality of work for Ross & Temp associates.
• Cultivates a constructive team culture and issue-free environment.
• Establishes strong working relationships with Area Supervisors, DC Merch. Managers, and HR.
• Conducts daily huddles to communicate priorities.
• Facilitates associate training on safety, HR, and new processes as needed.
• Implements disciplinary meetings per policy and handles terminations if required.
• Performs admin tasks: time and production records; hiring decisions; evaluations.
• Provides updates to DC Merch Manager on planning needs and issues.
• Supports special projects and event planning for the team.
