Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee hourly associates in our distribution environment. You will manage daily workflows, train staff, and uphold safety and quality standards to ensure on-time merchandise distribution to stores.

You will lead by example, drive performance, and coordinate with area supervisors and HR to maintain an engaging, productive team culture. This role requires in-office presence at the distribution center.

Qualifications

• BS degree or 2+ years supervisory experience in a production/merchandising function (preferred).
• Developed written and verbal communication skills; organization and prioritization abilities required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across multiple shifts/departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly associates and temporary workers to ensure timely processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Use MAP (Managing Associate Performance) to train, coach, and evaluate staff; maintain quality and safety standards.
• Conduct daily huddles, enforce policies, and manage safety/regulatory compliance in a demanding warehouse environment.
