Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Operations Manager in daily warehouse and delivery operations in Georgia. You will focus on inventory accuracy, receiving, staging, dispatch support, and coordinating day-to-day logistics.

Responsibilities include daily inventory counts, resolving discrepancies, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and providing guidance to warehouse and delivery staff to ensure on-time loading and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or related environment.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail, particularly inventory accuracy and documentation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer and inventory-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete data entry transactions in the accounting system to maintain and update.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Research inventory discrepancies and communicate findings to the Operations Manager.
• Assist with maintaining inventory locations and processing necessary adjustments.
• Identify and document damaged, missing, or incorrectly received product.
• Support unloading of inbound trucks and receiving processes.
• Verify incoming product quantities and conditions and identify shortages or damage.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to support timely inbound receiving.
• Assist with dispatching delivery trucks and monitoring daily activity.
• Communicate routing, scheduling, and customer concerns to delivery teams.
