Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in New Jersey is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, loading and shipping while ensuring safety, productivity and excellent service to customers. You will direct daily activities, coach staff, monitor performance, enforce SOPs, manage inventory, and lead continuous improvements with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF units.
• Knowledge of powered industrial trucks and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities and performance of warehouse workers to ensure compliance with procedures, quality and safety.
• Assure quality performance through staffing, communication and training.
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, development and mentoring.
