Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Operations leader to direct inbound/outbound warehouse activities, including receiving, replenishment, and order loading, while ensuring compliance with government regulations and safety. You will manage staff, budgets, and vendor relationships, implement process improvements, and maintain accurate documentation, HACCP and safety standards, contributing to overall efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Direct inbound and outbound warehouse operations and supervise managers, supervisors and associates.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget and schedules.
• Oversee asset utilization and procurement for warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to complete upgrades and repairs efficiently.
• Develop relationships with third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations and invoicing.
• Ensure documentation for shipping, receiving and HACCP/compliance is accurate.
