Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse staff, and coordinate with Receiving and Inventory Control teams. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, inventory management, safety, and training to maintain efficient distribution across stores.

The position requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Oversee storage, staging, and rotation of products; manage Storage Buy transactions and related audits.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Enforce warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance; train associates on procedures.
• Handle inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate with other departments for efficiency.
• Document and report activity; monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
