Job summary

Arvato in Louisville seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead a warehouse department, manage labor and equipment, and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment. You will plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution while prioritizing orders and coaching the shift team.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse, strong leadership, and proficiency with SAP or equivalent WMS. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Experience with picking, packing and shipping tasks.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor.
  • Receive and transfer materials.
  • Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
  • Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
  • Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
  • Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting.
  • Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed.
  • New customer integration and migration testing.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Understand traffic coordination.
  • Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements.
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
  • Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.

Job Description

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the labor and equipment of the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely completion and quality of orders.
