Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks an Operations Manager II to oversee warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and lead a diverse team of Supervisors.

You will develop workflows, manage labor plans, ensure safety compliance, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

This role offers a path to impact a global leader in contract logistics, with opportunities to contribute to operational excellence across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop workflows, labor plans, standardize processes, and drive productivity and efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
• Produce KPI reports and provide insights to support decisions and continuous improvement.
• Encourage open communication between leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR on the hiring of Supervisors to align with values and job requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly.
• Build strong partnerships with customers to address concerns and boost satisfaction.
