Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a diverse team of supervisors, implement efficient workflows, and drive safety, productivity, and cost discipline across our warehouses.

You will develop labor plans, standardize processes, monitor KPIs, partner with HR on hiring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor planning, standardize processes, and apply best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and cultivate a culture of safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs including productivity and accuracy to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across leadership and associates for transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership to ensure a thorough Supervisors hiring process.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment across customer orders.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and achieve high customer satisfaction.
