Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, seeks an Operations Manager in Latham, NY. You will hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, review orders and inventories, and coordinate with buyers to optimize delivery schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations within a wholesale warehouse and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. A robust benefits package includes medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.
• Operations responsibility for $5-10 Million wholesale warehouse facility.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
• Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and drivers.
• Review open orders, POs, vendor claims and transfers; ensure safety procedures.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and cycle counts to prevent shrink.
• Support sales staff in meeting objectives and coordinate with regional buyers.
