POOLCORP is seeking an Operations Manager in Indianapolis to direct procurement for sales and distribution, lead warehouse staff, and optimize inventory and freight processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inventory management software.
• Knowledge of pool, spa, plumbing, electrical supplies, HVAC, or related industrial goods is helpful.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
• Hire, train, direct and manage warehouse staff.
• Review open sales orders, purchase orders, vendor claims, and transfers.
• Ensure warehouse safety procedures are followed.
• Manage inventory and reduce stockouts.
• Oversee freight invoicing and accounts payable discrepancies.
• Support sales staff in meeting objectives.
