POOLCORP is seeking an Operations Manager for SCP Distributors in Albany, NY. The role directs procurement, warehousing, and distribution activities, leading a warehouse team and coordinating with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of operations experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS Office and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and drivers as applicable.
• Review open sales/purchase orders, vendor claims, and transfers.
• Manage inventory, cycles counts, and reduce stockouts.
• Oversee freight expenses, AP discrepancies, and invoicing.
• Support sales staff to meet objectives.
