Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely shipping and accurate receiving. You will manage inventory systems to maintain precise stock levels and lead a team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on experience with WMS systems, especially AS400, and strong knowledge of logistics, OSHA safety protocols, and cross-functional coordination with 3PL partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse distribution operations.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly AS400 or similar platforms.
• Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts and heavy lifting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
• Experience working within a distribution or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to enhance operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes
• Manage inventory management systems to maintain precise stock levels and streamline inventory control procedures
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize materials handling workflows
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
• Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to facilitate smooth shipping schedules
• Supervise the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely during daily tasks
• Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track shipments, inventory movements, and reporting
