Job summary

Safe Industries seeks an experienced warehouse leader to manage daily operations, drive inventory accuracy, and develop staff to meet productivity and safety standards. The role requires hands-on performance in a fast-paced distribution environment and expertise with ERP systems, including NetSuite.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales to optimize stock levels, manage cycle counts, and implement WMS improvements while ensuring OSHA compliance and safe forklift

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, fulfillment, and material handling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage warehouse employees in a fast-paced distribution or fulfillment environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to establish standardized processes, improve operational workflows, and hold employees accountable to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, inventory storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping, transfers, returns, and deliveries.
• Manage, coach, train, and develop warehouse employees while establishing clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, attendance, safety, organization, and accountability.
• Plan and assign daily workload based on order priorities, customer requirements, staffing, inventory availability, incoming shipments, and business needs.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, staged, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
