Qualifications

• Experience managing hourly warehouse employees.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, SAP or similar systems.
• Forklift/equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, storage, and inventory control.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff while maintaining accountability for performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, customers, and transportation partners.
• Ensure materials are received, stored, labeled, and distributed properly.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and team performance. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining strong inventory control and meeting customer and operational demands.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience managing warehouse teams, coordinating receiving and shipping, overseeing inventory, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, storage, and inventory control
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse employees while maintaining accountability for performance
• Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and discrepancies
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, customers, and transportation partners
• Ensure materials and products are properly received, stored, labeled, and distributed
• Work closely with purchasing, sales, operations, and supply chain teams to maintain product availability
• Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy, and operating costsIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and workflow
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and workload planning
• Resolve inventory, shipping, receiving, and customer-related issues
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
• Utilize ERP/WMS and other inventory management systems to track materials and transactions
• Prepare and review operational reports and key performance metrics

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management experience
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse leadership or management position
• Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse operations
• Experience managing and developing hourly warehouse employees
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with inventory data, reporting, and operational metrics
• Experience with ERP, WMS, SAP, or similar inventory management systems preferred
• Forklift/warehouse equipment experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
