Job summary

CTDI is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. The role focuses on driving efficiency, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and safety standards in a large-scale distribution environment.

Responsibilities include developing policies, monitoring KPIs, leading staff, and coordinating with logistics, procurement, and customer service to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of leadership in warehousing or distribution.
• Experience managing P&L/budgets.
• Strong analytical and numeric skills.
• Experience with WMS and inventory control software.
• Ability to lead and develop staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage reports, statistical analysis, and daily P&L reporting. This may include participating in daily P&L calls with Corporate management.
• Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory management processes to minimize stock outs, overstock, and inventory holding costs.
• Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily KPIs, with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate warehouse operations and address customer needs and requirements.
• Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to SLAs, meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise.
• Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
• Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
• Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
