Placements24 in the United States is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at the George facility. You will lead a team to ensure efficient receiving, storage, pick, pack, and dispatch, while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include optimizing layouts, coordinating inventory control, training staff, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires significant leadership, WMS proficiency, and a hands-on approach to reducing losses

Qualifications

• Significant experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
• Ability to manage inventory, optimize storage, and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and other relevant software.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and loss.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
