Job summary

Lineage is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and run a busy Georgia warehouse. You will oversee staff, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering excellent service.

The role partners with sales and provides cost and performance improvements, with travel up to 25%. You\'ll manage budgets, equipment, and space, and lead initiatives to optimize processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years’ Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with strategy/annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOPs, workshops).
• Experience with Six Sigma and/or LEAN quality processes.
• Experience managing, training, and developing people in operation roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent verbal and written communications with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lead discussions and deliver technical results to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports to ensure productivity.
• Achieve company performance goals including KPIs, such as Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze all warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager in marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting new accounts, sales calls, developing and quoting rates, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
• Establish and ensure facilities have excellent focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor and control budgets, capital expenditures, material handling equipment and space utilization to meet corporate targets.
• Facilitate and support initiatives that ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of food to exceed Lineage safety and food quality standards and employee health and safety.
