Job summary

Kenco Group, a leading 3PL provider in the U.S., seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive efficient shipping operations in Columbia, SC. You will plan workloads, assign tasks, mentor staff, and partner with the General Manager on process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least three years in warehousing or distribution, supervisory experience, and strong PC/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related fields.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and examine work for quality, neatness, and conformity to policies and procedures.
• Schedule job assignments for inventories and counts.
• Monitor, direct, and perform accurate shipping of outbound orders.
• Provide instructions to associates and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Maintain associate accountability and resolve issues per SOPs.
• Manage employee time and supervise performance evaluations.
• Mentor and coach associates and handle corrective actions.
• Oversee receiving processes and database updates.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and Standard Works.
• Assist Safety Advocate with safety programs and committee participation.
• Contribute to process improvements and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
