Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for its on-site warehouse operations in Nebraska. You will lead a team of hourly Amazon Associates, drive safety, quality and productivity, and ensure smooth shift transitions.

This is a full-time, early-career opportunity in a fast-paced fulfillment environment with structured training and development. You will coordinate with support teams, manage staffing needs, and uphold safety and performance standards across the shift while working to meet daily

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Lead on the floor; monitor safety, quality and productivity in real time.
• Stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work night, weekend and holiday shifts with a fixed 4-day work week where applicable.
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages with pallet jacks and operate PIT equipment where available.
• Facilitate a safe, clean and organized work area for next shift.
