Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across stores, supervise specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor with freight scheduling. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with other departments.

The position requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day activities of the warehouse (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory)
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with supervision
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and workspace in compliance with OSHA rules
• Oversee training and SOP compliance for associates
• Handle employee inquiries and address issues
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, and receiver reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure proper product staging for counting and inspection
• Maintain proper storage to conserve space and safety
• Oversee inventory rotation in the warehouse
• Perform other duties as directed by management
