GEODIS in New York is seeking a warehouse supervisor to manage daily operations, supervise a team, and coordinate shipping schedules. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in handling inbound and outbound goods.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, with strong communication and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with warehouse equipment (Stand Up Forklift) and MS Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and write simple reports.

Responsibilities

• Tracks employee hours and assists in providing feedback to management.
• Directs team of employees for one or more warehouse accounts.
• Coordinates with CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules and labor requirements.
• Unloads and moves inbound freight safely to storage locations.
• Picks and prepares product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Performs picking duties efficiently to meet customer and company standards.
