Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods in Indianapolis is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead safe, efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping. You will manage daily workflow, supervise a team, ensure inventory accuracy, and comply with HACCP and safety standards.

You will also support production scheduling and purchasing on an interim basis, coordinate with production, purchasing, and transport partners, and drive continuous improvement in cost, service, and accuracy while using

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams.
• Familiarity with HACCP and safety practices.
• Experience with SAP-based processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, loading/unloading, storage, packing, and shipping.
• Plan and coordinate labor to meet daily requirements.
• Develop systems for handling, storage, inventory, and shipping.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, and shipping on time.
• Conduct cycle counts and investigate variances with root cause analysis.
• Supervise and develop direct reports with performance reviews.
• Promote a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, transportation and other functions to resolve issues.
• Provide backup coverage for production scheduling and purchasing as needed.
• Use SAP to research order history and support inventory control.
