HRforGrowth’s client is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage the production floor and supervise warehousing staff. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires proven leadership, strong process knowledge, and a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will drive productivity, coordinate with support teams, and ensure compliance with procedures. Location is in Indiana, with responsibilities across daily shift operations and staffing decisions.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience with receiving, shipping, product fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Previous leadership experience including coaching and development of employees.
• Capable of working independently and as part of and leading a team.
• Experience with standard warehousing procedures and policies.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to determine priorities, make decisions, and organize the workspace to create an organized operation.

Aufgaben

• Determine appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverables.
• Supervises all operations personnel to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Plan daily activities with the operations manager and support teams.
• Ensure employees understand duties before the start of each shift.
• Review production schedule and work orders to prioritize the workforce.
• Ensure lines are properly set up at shift start for efficient labor use.
• Supervise shift employees to maintain safety and performance standards.
• Interview, hire, and train new employees for shifts.
• Support and maintain corporate quality standards and procedures.
• Provide a safe working environment through OSHA adherence.
• All other duties as assigned.
