Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Indiana to lead daily warehouse operations, allocate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across KPIs. The role requires directing a small team, coordinating schedules, reporting on performance, and maintaining inventory integrity.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and support the Operations Manager with special projects, while upholding safety standards and 5S practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or military rank E-6 to O-2 or at least 6 months of warehouse experience with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports and manage performance.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse production activities.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports to support day-to-day activities.
• Ensure schedules are implemented correctly and tasks are assigned and completed.
• Manage vacation and time-off scheduling to minimize disruption.
• Lead teammates on the floor and communicate work instructions and safety practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage change.
• Promote safety through weekly meetings, trainings, and 5S standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse aligned with 5S standards.
• Support Operations Manager with special projects.
