Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Greenwood, IN is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, allocate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting KPI targets.

You will supervise a small team, conduct startup meetings, coach staff, manage scheduling and inventory integrity, and support the Operations Manager with special projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or military rank equivalent.
• Six months+ experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment with leadership demonstrated.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports, including coaching and performance management.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly warehouse production activities.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports for day-to-day activities.
• Ensure schedules and job assignments are executed effectively.
• Manage vacation and time-off scheduling to minimize disruption.
• Lead floor operations with daily startup briefings and safety practices.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions to teammates.
• Promote safety through weekly meetings and facility 5S standards.
• Maintain inventory integrity and assist with counts.
• Support Operations Manager with special projects as needed.
