Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and oversees warehouse personnel to meet production, quality, sanitation and customer service standards.
• Ensures forklift safety inspections and reports deviations to supervisor/manager.
• Maintains equipment according to company standards.
• Coordinates flow of product with management and ensures safety precautions are followed.
• Enforces schedules and estimated labor hours for daily job assignments.
• Reports compliance of teams in work areas to operational standards and initiatives.
• Participates in Kaizen activities to improve all aspects of operations.
• Performs duties of supervised workers when required or other duties as assigned.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Maintains high safety, housekeeping and a clean, secure work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned; trains employees and directs workflow as needed.
• Addresses and elevates complaints and resolves minor problems with management assistance.
