Job summary

Customs Goods LLC in Fontana, CA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities, supervise receiving, storage, transporting, shipping, and inventory, and report to the Operations Manager.

You will lead safety meetings, assign duties, monitor performance, ensure accurate paperwork, and collaborate with carriers and staffing agencies to ship products on time.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED and three years of related warehouse supervisor/lead experience.
• Experience with shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Excel and Warehouse/Yard Management Systems or Transportation Management Systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities on a daily basis.
• Lead safety meetings and promote a safety-focused environment.
• Assign duties, review work for accuracy and conformance to policies.
• Manage paperwork for picks, bills of lading, and replenishment.
• Coordinate with carriers and staffing agencies to ensure on-time shipping.
• Monitor and evaluate individual work performance.
• Ensure safe operation of materials handling equipment.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and physical counts.
