Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide is seeking a Team Lead, Warehousing in Carson, CA to oversee dock operations and ensure on-time shipments. You will guide dock staff, coordinate with supervisors, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years warehousing or transportation experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with movement of freight, stock, or materials within storage/production areas.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments.
• Follow oral and written instructions including shipping docs and manifests.
• Maintain records for on-time shipments.
• Work in a team environment and delegate tasks as needed.
• Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and followed.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with security procedures.
• Provide guidance and resolve staff questions with management direction.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with dock staff.
