Zusammenfassung

Meijer is seeking a warehouse leadership professional to plan and oversee daily shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will recruit, train, and develop staff, cultivate strong team relationships, and ensure safety and efficiency while meeting productivity targets.

You will lead staffing, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a union-influenced distribution center, with focus on growth and development opportunities

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or warehouse management experience.
• Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Conflict resolution and performance management.

Aufgaben

• Plan daily shipping and receiving to meet department goals.
• Interviews, trains, and maintains staffing levels to meet goals.
• Develops potential leaders and succession bench.
• Foster positive relationships with team members and unions where applicable.
• Promote a positive work environment and support differences.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety practices.
• Establish and monitor DC Scorecard metrics for productivity and efficiency.
• Train and lead teams to achieve performance, quality, cost, and service goals.
• Handle investigations and disciplinary actions with HR alignment.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching and retraining as needed.
• Evaluate warehouse processes and recommend improvements.
• Perform administrative duties related to production, shipping and quality.
