Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to plan and manage daily shipping and receiving operations at our Ohio location. You will assign tasks, monitor performance metrics, and drive safe, efficient material handling while supporting a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership or warehouse management experience.
• Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Conflict resolution and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily shipping and receiving activities to meet metrics.
• Identify high potential team members for development and succession.
• Foster positive relationships with team members and union reps where applicable.
• Create a positive, innovative work environment and promote inclusivity.
• Ensure adherence to Meijer policies and procedures.
• Maintain DC scorecard metrics and analyze data for performance gains.
• Coach and lead teams to meet performance, quality, cost and service goals.
• Handle investigations and disciplinary actions with HR alignment.
• Monitor direct reports and provide coaching, retraining and discipline as needed.
• Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and propose improvements.
• Perform administrative duties related to production, shipping and quality.
