Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or warehouse management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Conflict resolution and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, trains, develops and maintains staffing levels to meet daily goals.
• Identify high-potential team members for leadership development.
• Foster positive relationships with team members and union representatives where applicable.
• Promote a positive work environment that values diversity.
• Ensure adherence to Meijer policies and practices.
• Establish and monitor DC Scorecard metrics for productivity and efficiency.
• Train, coach and lead teams to meet performance, quality, cost and service goals.
• Safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
• Investigate team member concerns and manage disciplinary actions with HR alignment.
• Monitor and coach direct reports, with performance improvements as needed.
• Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and propose improvements.
• Handle administrative duties related to production, shipping and quality performance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
