Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily shipping and receiving operations, schedule staffing, and ensure productivity metrics are met.

You will coach teams, manage performance, and uphold safety and quality standards across the distribution center. This role emphasizes data-driven improvements and collaboration with Union representatives where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or warehouse management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing, interviews, trains and maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet daily goals.
• Develop potential future leaders and foster a positive working environment.
• Maintain DC Scorecard metrics and drive productivity and efficiency.
• Coach teams to achieve safety, quality, cost and service goals.
• Oversee material handling safety and operational processes across the warehouse.
