Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Middlebury, IN facility. The role oversees daily shipping and receiving, staff planning, and a focus on safety, productivity, and quality in a fast-paced warehouse.

The incumbent analyzes performance metrics, coaches teams, and ensures alignment with company policies while supporting a positive, inclusive work environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or warehouse management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, trains, develops and maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet daily operational goals.
• Identifies high potential team members for leadership development opportunities.
• Fosters positive working relationships with Team Members and Union representatives to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Ensures adherence to Meijer policies, procedures and practices.
• Monitors and analyzes DC metrics for productivity and efficiency, driving process improvements.
